Chancellor Congratulates Nancy Zimpler

University of Cincinnati President Nancy L. Zimpher has announced that she has accepted the position of chancellor of the State University System of New York (SUNY).

Congratulations to University of Cincinnati President Nancy L. Zimpher on the news she is leaving the university to become Chancellor of the State University of New York (SUNY). For the past several years, Dr. Zimpher has made a tremendous contribution to the University of Cincinnati, the University System of Ohio, and the State of Ohio as a whole.

While her strength and leadership will truly be missed as we work to raise the education attainment level of the State of Ohio and grow our state and regional economies, I wish her much success in her new position at SUNY. There is no doubt that Dr. Zimpher-a widely recognized leader in higher education-will do great work there.
