Rio Grande Community College

Rio Grande Community College was established in 1974 to meet the need for technical education in the four county district of Gallia, Jackson, Vinton, and Meigs Counties. Rio Grande Community College offers a wide range of services including associate degrees, technical programs, transfer programs, and continuing education. Rio Grande Community College has a unique partnership with the University of Rio Grande, a four-year independent liberal arts college, for students to continue on to receive a bachelor's degree or higher. 100 percent of credits from the Community College transfer to the University of Rio Grande.
